【The Power of Music: Building Bridges, Changing Live】

Sebastian See-Schierenberg is a British Chinese-German concert
violinist, teacher and conductor who is currently based between Yangon
and Taipei. Sebastian is the Founder-Director of the Orchestra for
Myanmar, the New Children’s Choir, and the Violin Study Programme for Blind Children.  He is also the Founder-Director of the UK charity

Live4Music (reg.1150636) under which the Myanmar projects are
delivered.

A scholarship winner and graduate of the Royal College of Music in
London, he has performed as soloist at prestigious concert halls
throughout Europe and Asia such as the London Southbank Centre, Berlin Konzerthaus, Luxembourg Philharmonie and Singapore Esplanade. He has held teaching posts at institutions including the Trinity College of
Music in London, Lisbon Orchestral Academy and Bowdoin Music Festival USA, as well as being a member of the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra for a number of years. He records for Signum Classics.

Susana Galván is a senior Education and Arts expert who until April
2015 organised and oversaw the British Council Education programmes
portfolio in Myanmar, including supporting the current countrywide
education reform process, as well as research and government/institutional links. She also ran the British Council Arts
programme in Myanmar. She is now Country Director Taiwan and Regional Education Director for NE Asia. She is an experienced concert
presenter and promoter and has organised international music tours of
Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei. Susana is the Chair of UK
charity Live4Music.
