Prof. Yoshimi OSHIMA

 為捷克布拉格廣播交響樂團與日本群馬交響樂團前長笛首席，目前為京都市立藝術大學音樂學院教授。畢業自京都市立藝術大學與維也納音樂及表演藝術大學。

 曾獲日本國內及國際多項音樂競賽大奬肯定，並以長笛獨奏家身份在日本、英國、維也納、布拉格等古典樂重鎮舉辦多場音樂會。此外也與布拉格交響樂團、斯洛伐克室內樂團等合作演出，並參與多項重要音樂節。

After being the principal flutist of Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra and Gunma Symphony Orchestra, he is now professor at Kyoto City university and Graduate School of Arts, After graduating from Kyoto City university of Arts, he graduated from universitat for Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien at the top of the list. 

He won prizes in domestic and international competitions including the Music Competition of Japan, as a soloist he gives performances every year not only in Japan but also in many places in Europe, such as London, Vienna, Prague, Firenze and Rome. He also plays with orchestras such as Prague Symphony Orchestra and Slovak Chamber orchestra. He participated in a number of music festivals including Prague Spring international Festival. As was broadcasted in many countries, he performed with principal players, such as J.Suk and W.Schulz, in Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, Czech Philharmonic orchestra and Berlin Deutsche Opera Orchestra. 

He has released 13 CD albums, The CD out in 2008 “Flute Quartets and Concerto No.1” won the highest reputation in major music journals in Europe, French music journal Diapason commented “it includes everything to integrate adores of Mozart, even compared with the performance by Pahud, Galway or Gallois”. His essay published in late 2011, “17 questions to enhance musical strength”, also enjoys high reputation.
